A car crash on Friday afternoon, February 17, in Libertyville, Illinois, caused one car to land atop another during the multivehicle accident. The car accident resulted in two people receiving minor injuries.
The accident happened shortly after noon on Route 45, just south of Peterson Roads. A minor crash between two cars had just occurred; however, a larger accident then happened when a black Lexus slammed on the brakes to avoid the first accident, and then the black Lexus was forcefully rear-ended by a green car. The green car wedged itself under the black Lexus.
