A bus accident Tuesday afternoon sent 24 people to the hospital.
The accident occurred in Harvey, as a Pace bus collided with a car, then went off the road and crashed into an abandoned building.
The collision between the bus and car happened as the car allegedly disobeyed a stoplight at Park Avenue as the bus was traveling west on 154th Street, according to a Pace spokesman.
There were about 50 passengers aboard the bus at the time of the accident.
