There was a Lake County car accident near the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Corporate Drive on January 2, 2014, in which a car hit the back of (i.e. “rear-ended”) another car.

Weston Riesche, 24, of Chicago was arrested Jan. 2 for driving under the influence (drugs), failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia,according to Deerfield Police reports.
Responding to a report of a crash near the intersection of Corporate Drive and Lake Cook Road, police learned Riesche hit the car in front of him. While questioning him, police detected a strong odor of cannabis and a search turned up drug paraphernalia. A records search showed his license was suspended. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Jan. 15 in Waukegan.
