Car Runs Into Highland Park Fuddruckers Restaurant

There was a Highland Park car accident late Sunday night (December 29, 2013) in which a man drove his car into the Highland Park Fuddruckers.

It appears that the reasons for the accident have yet to be determined.

According to the Highland Park Police Department this car accident happened at approximately 11:15 p.m., as a 24-year-old male driver was driving westbound on Clavey and attempting to turn south onto Skokie Valley Road.  For the yet-undetermined reason the car “jumped the curb” and crashed into a corner of Fuddruckers, which is located at 1538 Clavey Road.

The driver was taken to Highland Park Hospital with injuries described as “minor” and no one else was injured.  Fuddruckers was closed at the time of the accident.

Additional details and possible updates concerning this Lake County car accident can be seen in a variety of media sources, including the Highland Park – Deerfield TribLocal article of December 30, 2013 titled “Car crashes into Highland Park Fuddruckers” as well as the December 30, 2013 Highland Park Patch article titled “Driver Crashes Into Fuddruckers Restaurant.”
