There was a “chain-reaction” crash involving five vehicles this morning near Barrington.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. The accident happened on eastbound Route 14 in unincorporated Lake County.
The accident happened after one car, traveling eastbound on Route 14, hit another car that was stopped at 24th Street.
No serious injuries stemming from the accident were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
