According to SunTimes.com, a “car surfing” incident in the northern Chicago suburb of Crystal Lake has left one 20-year old with a head trauma injury.
As the story states:
A northwest suburban man is in critical condition and three teens have been charged with reckless driving after the man apparently fell from the roof of a vehicle while “car surfing” Thursday night.
The man injured was riding on the trunk and roof of two cars in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart at 1205 S. Rte. 31 in Crystal Lake at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night.
He fell from the roof of one of the cars and struck the pavement, sustaining trauma to his head. He was listed in critical condition upon being taken to Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.
