Fatal Car Accident On Route 41 In Lake Forest, Illinois

Early this morning (October 10, 2013) there was a fatal car accident in Lake Forest, along Route 41.

Details on the accident are somewhat limited at this time.

However, the accident happened some time before 2:35 a.m., and involved a northbound car that went off Route 41 north of Westleigh Road.  It struck several trees and rolled over.

The accident involved a single car with three occupants.  One occupant died at the accident scene, and two other male occupants were taken to local hospitals, but are expected to survive.

The male who died at the accident scene has been identified by the Lake County Coroner as Lance Nacario, 20, of Zion.

Alcohol played a role in a crash that took the life of a 20-year-old Gurnee man early Thursday morning, according to the Lake County Coroner.

The accident remains under investigation.
