There was a five-vehicle accident on northbound Interstate 94 (I-94) this afternoon (August 16, 2013), that involved two semi trucks and three other vehicles. As a result of the accident, traffic was delayed for hours.

The accident happened shortly after 1:00 p.m., near Route 173, close to Wadsworth, Illinois.
While the accident caused only minor injuries, one of the semi trucks caught on fire. The resulting traffic delay stretched to almost three hours.
