Lake Forest High School Student Fatally Struck By Train In Lake Forest, Illinois

Yesterday, a 15-year-old student from Lake Forest High School (Lake Forest, Illinois) was killed when he was struck by a train.

William Laskero-Teskoski, a freshman, was struck by the train near the 1400 block of Western Avenue in Lake Forest.

The incident happened at approximately 7:25 a.m., and involved an inbound Metra train.

Lake Forest High School students and officials still reeling from the death in January of a student struck by a Metra train had to relive the same thing Tuesday following a second fatality.

The article explains that less than two months ago, on January 9, another student of LFHS, Farid Hussain, 15, was also fatally struck by a Metra train.  That incident happened less than a mile from yesterday’s fatal accident.
