A large tree fell on a car in Wilmette on Friday morning, injuring two people.
The car, carrying a family of six, was traveling on 16th Street, heading north at approximately 10:55 a.m, when the accident happened near Wilmette Avenue.
The car, a Ford Freestyle, was crushed, and the Wilmette Fire Department had to extricate one person from the vehicle.
News accounts vary as to how many of the family members were taken to hospitals.
