Pickup Truck Accident In Libertyville, Illinois

Today (December 6) there was a vehicle accident in which a pickup truck veered off of Rockland Road and drove onto a school playground.

The driver of the pickup truck, James Hall, 69, of Libertyville, was found unconscious in his pickup truck at the Rockland School playground at 160 Rockland Road.  Police arrived at the playground at 10:41 a.m.

Hall was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was pronounced dead.

It is unknown at this time as to what caused Hall to veer off of Rockland Road.

As the playground was unoccupied, no children or adults were injured during the course of the accident.
