There was a traffic accident in Volo, Illinois, on Wednesday afternoon, July 17.
Details on the accident appear somewhat limited.
However, it is being reported that the accident happened at Route 12 and Route 120.
An excerpt from the Lake County News-Sun article of July 17 titled “Woman injured in crash” :
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, a 1999 black SUV was travelling westbound on Route 120 near Fisher Road around 1 p.m. when it rear-ended a semi-tractor trailer truck that was slowing down to turn.
The woman was trapped in the SUV for 40 minutes, as firefighters extricated her, and then she was taken to an unspecified local hospital.
