Vehicle Crashes Into Lake Villa Dry Cleaners

There was an vehicle accident Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Lake Villa, Illinois, in which a Jeep drove into a dry cleaners.  One person was injured as a result of the accident.

The accident happened in the Tower Plaza in Lake Villa, at approximately 12:45 p.m.

A Jeep with two elderly occupants was driven into the dry cleaners after the 84-year-old female driver lost control of the vehicle as she attempted to park.  The jeep came to rest about 30 feet inside the “Fashion Cleaners” dry-cleaning business at 850 Tower Drive.

A 56-year-old female owner of the business was found injured inside.  Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The elderly couple were not injured.
