On Saturday, a wrong-way driver was involved in a fatal car accident as she collided with another driver on Interstate 94 in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
At least 4 squad cars were sent to stop the wrong-way driver, but they were unable to stop the vehicle before the collision.
Both drivers died at the accident scene. The wrong-way driver was a 44-year-old woman from Pewaukee, whose name has not yet been released. The other driver was Brian St. Germaine, 41, of Watertown. According to his wife, he was headed to work at the time of the accident.
Due to the accident, eastbound I-94 was closed for more than three hours.
An investigation is continuing.
