Crash On Milwaukee Avenue In Lincolnshire

There was a crash Monday night (October 3, 2016) in Lincolnshire after which the driver was charged with numerous felony counts.  The crash happened on Milwaukee Avenue, and involved a driver who was allegedly driving while intoxicated on drugs.  The driver fled from police and was involved in a car accident.

An excerpt from the Deerfield Patch article of October 6, 2016, titled “Driver Was High on Drugs When He Fled From Crash Scene in Lincolnshire:  Police“:

Peter P. Mleczko, 36, of south suburban Palos Hills, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated fleeing, driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident after police found him hiding in a grassy field near the crash scene near Milwaukee and Olde Half Day Road, according to a CBS-Chicago report.

The accident happened on Milwaukee Avenue near Corporate Woods Parkway.  Mleczko and the other driver involved in the collision were both taken to the hospital for treatment of their accident injuries.  Both injuries were considered to be non-life-threatening in nature.
