The Lake Forest Police Department and Lake Forest Fire Department responded around 10:47 a.m. Thursday to 500 block of North Mayflower Road for a report of a vehicle crash.
Officers found a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle near the intersection of North Mayflower Road and Rosemary Road.
The suspect vehicle, identified as a white two-door Ford F-150 pickup truck, fled the scene southbound on Mayflower Road.
The victim of this pedestrian accident has only been identified as a man in his 60s.
The white pickup truck appears to be missing a passenger-side mirror as a result of the collision.
