On Monday (September 16, 2019) morning there was a “head-on collision” involving a motorcycle and a dump truck in Gurnee. While the cause of the accident remains under investigation, the apparent cause is that motorcyclist loss control of the bike, which led to the bike crossing the center line and colliding with the oncoming dump truck. The reason for this loss of control has yet to be publicly disclosed.
