There were many vehicle accidents reported today (March 3, 2015) in Lake County, Illinois, due largely in part to a mix of falling snow and ice in the morning.
The Daily Herald article of March 3, 2015 discusses one of these accidents in which at least one driver was hurt and taken to a hospital for treatment of accident injuries. The article is titled “Route 137 near Grayslake reopens after crash closed roadway for five hours.”
The accident involved a car that went into opposing lanes on Route 137 after the driver lost control of the car, with snow mentioned as a factor. The accident happened near Grayslake.
