In instances where injuries or death result from the negligence of another person, many injured people opt to file a lawsuit. There can be many reasons for filing a lawsuit, as discussed on the “Reasons For Filing A Personal Injury Lawsuit” page.
While there are many reasons as to why someone would want to file a personal injury lawsuit, perhaps the primary reason is to get compensation. Compensation is often needed to help pay for medical bills and other financial issues that arise due to being hurt. For those accidents that result in fatalities, relevant parties can file a wrongful death lawsuit if another person or party was at fault for the death of a person.
