An excerpt from the release:

Preliminary investigation shows the driver of a 2002 Kawasaki Motorcycle, an 18-year-old man of Lindenhurst, was traveling westbound on Rollins Road and attempted to make a left turn onto southbound Route 45. While turning, a 2007 Chrysler Sedan traveling eastbound, driven by a 19- year-old man of Round Lake, struck the motorcycle.
